The progression down this path involving people, light, images and character led to my career in photography. It also led to my concentration on infants, children and relationships. There is something special about being able to capture a special look, quirk, smile that gives all of us a window into the soul of another. My studies and work in photography have allowed me to hone this special side of capturing images. Photographs are some the most precious records of our children, family, and friends. Being able to capture these special moments in time and see the look of satisfaction in the eyes of my clients is an added reward to my work.

My work is done in a very casual and relaxed style. My goal is to capture the spirit of your child and your family. I do not pose children or ask them to smile or say cheese. Instead I prefer to interact with them and to let their personalities come through. I conduct all of my sessions on location as it provides a more relaxed and natural environment. I do not put time constraints on my shoots because I believe the best portraits are taken when you are relaxed and comfortable in an environment that is familiar.
